This workshop explains the overall functionality of DICOM.

It shows the use of DICOM in the healthcare enterprise. You learn, how to read a DICOM Conformance Statement, and you understand all the basic DICOM terminology. Along the exercises you define and compare DICOM interactions and features. The workshop is for people in the healthcare sector, where DICOM messages are in use.

Participants of this course are administrators for RIS or PACS, modality experts, technicians, radiologists, software developers and testers, and service engineers in that area. It is also a good introduction for marketing, sales, and management people, if you plan to or already develop a product with DICOM interface.
