This workshop explains the use of DICOM for medical reporting.

The SR concept is quite different from the traditional DICOM design. Complicated terms related to DICOM SR, like concept names, content groups, and so on, are shown in detail. You become able to read documentation and to discuss with other SR experts. In hands-on sessions you learn concepts of SR, leading you to create your very own little SR.

The workshop is for users to better understand features and possibilities of SR enabled applications. It is for software developers to learn how a tree like structure is used to represent document content and how to encode the details. Product managers and product architects may decide to extend an application with SR functionality and get an idea about the required effort. Attendees shall have basic DICOM knowledge, e.g. from attending our DICOM Essentials workshop.
