Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?
We process the data that you have sent us in connection with your contact in order to edit your request.
What is the legal basis for this?
The legal basis for processing your personal data in this procedure is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if the enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract.
How long is the data stored?
The data is deleted when the purpose of the processing no longer applies, e.g. the enquiry has been conclusively answered. If the enquiry leads to a business relationship, the data will be deleted after the end of the contract, at the latest after expiry of the statutory retention periods. Data of candidates for the job without ongoing business contact will be deleted after 24 months.
Who do we share your personal data with?
We use the data for the contact process exclusively within the company.
After receipt of your contact request, your data will be viewed by the responsible department and distributed to the respective department heads. Then the further procedure is coordinated. In principle, only those persons within the company have access to your data who need it for the proper process.
Where is the data processed?
The data is only processed internally at the Erlangen site.
Your rights as a data subject:
You have the right of access to the information about the personal data we process relating to you in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR.
In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require evidence from you that proves that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have a right to rectification, right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’), right to restriction of processing and right to data portability, insofar as you are legally entitled to this in accordance with Art. 16 – 20 GDPR.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to processing within the scope of the legal requirement according to Art. 21 GDPR.
